PATIENT RIGHTS

Right to ask about medicine side effects and course of use.
Right to know about diagnosis, possible treatment, likely and unexpected outcomes, and cost of treatment.
Right of consent to or refuse a treatment.
Right to privacy and confidentiality of medical information.
Right to access clinical record and maintain confidentiality.
Right to make complaints/suggestions.
Right to consent or decline to take part in clinical research.
Right of protection from physical abuse or neglect.
Right to have considerate, respectful and safe care.
Right to have a copy of bills.

PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

To follow hospital rules and regulations. (Please go through the link for details)
To provide accurate and complete information on the course of treatment.
To follow treatment plan as per the consulting doctor.
To pay bills on time.
To respect other patient urgent needs and privacy.
To take care of your belongings.
Phone should be in silent in ward and use earphones for media after 8pm.

VISITOR RESPONSIBILITIES

To wear a visitor pass at all times within hospital premises.
Delay visiting if you have a cold, fever, illness etc.
Comply with visiting hours.
Wash hands or use hand sanitizer as you enter and leave patient's room.
Supervise children visitors at all times.
Do not smoke, drink alcohol, or spit pan parag/gutka in the hospital.
Do not damage or remove hospital property or the property of other patients.
Be courteous to the hospital staff and other patients.
Phone should be in silent in ward and use earphone for media after 8pm.
Minimize noise and keep the number of visitors to reasonable levels.
Don't wash your legs inside toilet. For washing legs, dedicated areas are available at ground floor of hospital.
Important Notice: If found smoking, drinking alcohol, or spitting pan parag/gutka in the hospital premises, a fine of Rs. 500 will be charged as penalty.
